You must be an admirer of Salvador Dali!!! this picture is proof you like his palette and the genre is just an extension. Nice Pic!

Yes, I am. I hadn't thought of that when making the image but now that you mention it, I see your point. Thanks!

Thanks! The color palette is probably the most important part of this image.

I love the reds.   Are those purely Vue clouds?

Thanks! The clouds are an alphaplane that I prepared in PS to make the blue transparent (so that the render shows the planets behind).

Just shows that there are things that you must still do the old fashioned way     I've spent many, many hours in vain trying to achieve similar results using Vue's cloud system.

The end result is all that matters of course and you nailed it.    Well done!

I tried using native clouds at first but I didn't have time to pursue it till the end. This way was faster.

These images below have native Vue clouds - you don't want to know the time I spent doing the clouds crown on the first one or the light just shine on that place in the second one or the waves in the third...

Yes, those did turn out very good: a perfect balance between exposing and hiding. I also like the color mix in them.

They honestly need to make more movies with this sort of scenery.

NIce job. Being a cat owner, I like the idea that she'd bring her cat along.
