I was wondering if you had a setting custom-made for Iray's specular rendering? Otherwise, you have just crossed the uncanny valley and are heading into the mountains!

Fantastic! I love Victoria 7. The depth of field is perfect on this render. I think this may be the most realistic capture I've seen of the Victoria 7 face. I wouldn't expect to see catch light from a light that high unless it was from a reflector. Very nice work!

Yes I noticed that too! Too difficault to catch reflection with shadows in eyes & with just one hdri...

But as you can see the video above ... the whole thing needs More than Just Shaders ...
But also new More realistic Eyes maps & GeometryΒ
Lainey have new eyes geometry if you want to check ..

But those are the keys ...
Yet Shaderwise in UB you can boost refletivity with Curves !
I believe there are some Layers in the Shader ! That Allow that ! Boosting Reflection maintaing opacity ...
Yet the whole UB it needs more shader features ....
That thing you said of needing a Extra Refraction Layer .. i think is the essencial for this kind of setups ...

Sadly a setup like that Makes it a TRIPLE Base Shader NetworkΒ ...
Its just way too complicated and delayed to add in EXT 0 ...
But in EXT 1 in 2 months i think i will have time to put it in ..
( Hope DazStudio Handles it ... ) on the interface side
But with theΒ On Offs System we can Spare resources
Even if goes over the Iray 16 bsdfs limits

Not sure whether you can give the cornea some bulge on Genesis 3 or not but I know that it helps when I run into this problem on Genesis 8.Β
The character "Keri" (for Genesis 8) has a morph option to bulge the cornea and I use it regularly. Seems to help.
Either way, I am in line waiting to purchase NG3 brother!!!! Have NG and NG2 and LOOOOOVE both.

I know about that morphs! Although I didn't use them on this render...
My goal is to manage giving to all a solution without all these tricks with cornea or iris...I hope at the end I will solve it!
