Second page of sketches I've made from some screenshots I took.Maybe this will make it easier to draw him for my comic, or maybe not. Well, I did notice that his eyes seem to be in the vertical center of his head, and his face isn't round - I thought it was before, but I think it's his head that's round and his face is only part of that. I think I also noticed a little about the shape of his eyes, and a little about his facial expressions.

Ah, I recognize quite a few of these!
The top left corner one and the bottom right seem a bit off (maybe it's just the rarity of the expressions that make them seem odd...?), but the rest look very nice
It's interesting how much you notice about a character after you study them and draw them, isn't it? I'm still surprised every time I try a new character, at how much I didn't notice before...

hmm... top left is one I had to redo a few lines for (causing some darker colored lines than normal). (I thought that one might have been from the Man with the Mechanical Arm episode (I don't label my pictures very well) but I think it was Fullmetal vs. Flame, after noticing one or two from that episode close by) I don't remember if that was the one or if it was a different one, but I'd put the paper to the screen to see if the lines matched up for a few of them, and one of them was quite a bit off. I get some angles wrong because, well, it's like if you tilt your head sideways, everything still looks straight up and down, but it's really at an angle. When I try to draw something at an angle, it either translates to straight or too angled. ^_^" If the top left was the one, it would be the hair that's angled... Or maybe it was the one with his eyes half-closed that turned out off... I can't remember now.
When you say bottom right, you mean green-haired Ed or Philosopher's-Stone-dead-end Ed? I don't think the one with his eyes half closed looks right, but I didn't want to try re-doing it for some reason (I think it was the last pic I drew and I was probably just tired of drawing him so much).
