nice concept. its nice to see after teh series fullmetal alchemist and no yaoi. Kind of sick of constantly seeing yaoi.

I'm not sure yet... about the series, I mean. I suppose I'd watch it and see what it's like, definitely, but I have to wonder about it after seeing different series of other animes. It sounds like it's about the manga, which might be interesting...
I think yaoi is okay as long as it makes sense in some way, like it kind'a has things to lead up to it to make it sound possible, but everyone should know that Ed doesn't like Alfons, Mustang, or his brother in that way. ^_^"

I really like how you drew and coloured this^^ It looks like it took a lot of time. I like the brownish colours here and I also like ed's expression XD he is cute sleeping that way^^ I wonder how the paper stays on his nose like that XD for some reason I really like the trees outside the windowsXD
oh and by the way I think movie-ed has a pocket watch in his right pocket (I doubt it's the state alchemist watch cause how the hell could he have gotten that.. he didn't have it back at the end of the series.)

Yay, someone said something about the watch. ^_^ I wondered if anyone would notice. See, in the movie, Ed seems to have a watch chain (... okay, so you know that, but I feel like repeating it...), so I thought of a reason for that (that will be after lots of pages...). I watched the end of the anime (looking at Ed's... waist) trying to see if I could find any hint of a chain to see if he had it then or not, and I couldn't find one - and this isn't much after the series so he still doesn't have it. But he does have the fake skin - which I don't have a good excuse for... since he probably got that later than this...
There was a fic I saw on fanfiction.net before that (if I remember right) had Ed get a watch hand-crafted to look like his State Alchemist watch... I didn't notice the watch chain until recently though, so I didn't think much about it when I read that. (that was a good fic, but it was never finished... there was some people who said it was the best fanfiction there was or something, even)
Half Ed's face is covered and you talk about his expression. ^_^" I tried to make him look a little worried in his sleep... I wonder if that's how he looks...
I wanted his head tilted enough to make the paper look believable but I couldn't seem to get it to work. ^_^" I didn't want it to look like his neck was broken. ^_^"
I did the trees last, because I couldn't figure out what to draw out the windows (especially because of the angle - the horizon line is way about the window, so it's kind'a looking down...) and ended up drawing trees and hoping that was good enough. ^_^" I wasn't even sure how to go about drawing grass, because it's winter so it's not too green, but it shouldn't be yellow or brown...
I tried making the wood look wooden. ^_^ (and like the screenshots I have...) The first piece I did was that arm of the seat that's really close to us - and I think it turned out best... it kind'a kept getting worse after that... I think I like the walls and floor worst and that's the last I did.

Most of the colors are basically from either the Fullmetal Alchemist anime or movie. But, the colors of different trains shown in the series, although similar, are a little different, so I tried to make the inside of the train look like the trains on the show, only slightly different (I took the green seat and metal-looking wall in one train, the wood around the seat in another... so I took my favorite parts of the trains).
