A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: CYBERTRON Hotshot I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.Another old one. Sideswipe. This was an obvious choice, and I’m sure everyone and their mother has thought about (or did) repainting the hotshot mold into Sideswipe. But here’s mines. Pretty happy with it. Seems like an obvious repaint choice. Kinda makes ya wish Hasbro didn’t TANK the TFU line so we could get more repaints like this. (Since it won’t see the light of day cause we’re already getting a red hotshot repaint)

It is unfortunate that Hasbro cancelled the Universe line because of the main ones getting larger and larger. Hot Shot's mold just fits so well with Sideswipe's colors. The robot mode' height as well, since him and his bro' seem to be pictured a bit taller than the other Autobots in recent years (something that better fits with their brawler attitudes.)
Maybe a couple years from now they'll satrt it up again and make him and his bro' into a two-pack. (fat chance of this, I know. but still...)

I'm sure by then they'll have an even better mold for a sideswipe repaint though. And they won't use it. They'll still give us more Arm Sideswipe repaints...*cries*

Wow, I think he looks better as Sideswipe than in the normal colors, which I thought were a little dull for HotShot.

Actually, I never thought of it. But heh, it DOES work. Neat. Guess his wings could be used for jet-judo or sommat.
