Description
"Cosmic Encounters"Copyright 2010 / 1987 ~ Michael C. Turner
Galactic Visions Space Art
A view deep within the womb of a birthing nebula. Cosmic winds create exotic streams of plasma and dust while comets, asteroids and plaetoids move within complex gravitational influx fields.
*This is another one of my, vintage, traditional space art paintings which I created using acrylic on stretched linen canvas back in 1987.

The science in this piece is still up to date, even though it's from 1987; from before the Hubble and Spitzer era!
I can imagine this here taking place inside a nebula like M42 in Orion or even in the remains of an old supernova blast, like M1 in Taurus.

Greetings,
Thank you for your comments and for including this painting in your favourites. Your observations are well reasoned. I have always endeavored to visualize the Cosmos in a manner that enables the viewer to both understand and appreciate otherwise complex cosmic phenomena.
My best,
Michael C. Turner
