A brilliant burst of light radiates from within the stellar cauldron of a star-forming nebula as a newborn star ignites from energized gases, forming plasma tendrils which reach far beyond the star's disc. The resulting shockwave blasts matter from its path as it reverberates across space and time. The planetary system in the foreground is assuredly doomed. Such cosmic events might stir the minds and imaginations of sentient beings across myriad light years of space.
