I seem to do some of my best work at conventions, not sure if that is a good sign or not. I could be the traveling artist, going to a different convention every week.

some guys do just that. I can't recall his name, but theres a guy that does mostly fan art on request (for money) and some of his own stuff and I've seen him at every show I've ever gone to.

There is a very talented gent glasses, stocky, all ways wears a tank top, hair in pony tail? He does fan art and has a booth covered in it. He'll draw anything you want.

Ya, he's good, but I am not sure if he ever has his own characters or stories to tell. I am looking for the original stories and characters most of all.

I don't think he does anything with stories and not a lot of his own charaters, but he's a money making machine when it comes to on the spot commissions. I've talked to him at other shows and he does pretty well for himself.
