Name: Eleanor Harris

Personality: Cruel, wild, sarcastic, mocking, sadistic, manipulative, stalking, frenzied, nucking futs. Her once-beautiful face now hides a monster’s soul. Unrestrained and uncontrollable, she has no respect for rules or authority, but will abide by tournament rules if only as a means to an end. Having no sense of personal space, she likes to get very up close and personal with new people; playing with their hair, patting their cheek, and so on, all while sweetly cooing thinly-veiled threats. Though she’s very misanthropic in general, she tends to be more severe towards men and young girls. Out of battle she’s rude and snarky, but once the fighting starts, it gets even worse. She’ll verbally and emotionally attack both trainer and Pokemon to make them angry and sloppy.
She can’t stand seeing anyone happy and will do whatever it takes to crush their spirit. Needless to say, she’s an extremely sore loser.
Despite her madness, Eleanor still has the analytical mind of a scientist and understands Pokemon genetics like few others.
It is not commonly witnessed, but every now and again Eleanor will make a decision that, for whatever reason, her Dusknoir Dread does not agree with. When that happens, Dread will make her change her mind to do what he wants instead. Eleanor has no idea that this occurs.

History: For most of her life, Eleanor was a Pokemon geneticist working in Team Rocket's cloning experiments with her husband Maxwell Harris, another scientist. Though her work was illegal and unethical, she considered herself a good person at heart. She was responsible for creating the mutant Hitmonlee Systema. Within minutes of its activation, during a test run by her twin brother Danya, Systema murdered 27 Rockets, including Eleanor's husband. As her mental state deteriorated more and more over the following years, Giovanni deemed her unstable and a security risk and ordered her termination. Her brother Danya interceded on her behalf and saved her life. Instead of being killed, she was locked away in a Team Rocket-run Lavender Town asylum.
For the next four years Eleanor was isolated from human contact and tormented by Ghost Pokemon. After Team Rocket's collapse and disbanding, the asylum was closed and all its inmates left to die. Eleanor mysteriously vanished from the asylum and was missing for several years until she reappeared in Saffron City to torment her brother during PCBC2 only to vanish once more after stealing his Pokemon team.
Since then, she has been constantly moving from one new location to the next to keep one step ahead of her pursuing brother. While traveling through the Unova region, she took a liking to the new Ghost Pokemon there and took some for herself.

Other Info: Eleanor does not use Pokeballs. Her Ghost Pokemon team resides within her own body and they are expelled from her to battle. It is unknown if being possessed by Ghost Pokemon is the reason for her madness, or if it only worsened an evil already present. She will usually keep all of them within her until battle, but sometimes they can’t resist popping out of her to scare the pants off of passersby.
Whatever you do, DO NOT talk about family, especially children, in front of her. This is her berserk button, this is what changes her from “playfully creepy” mode to “I’m-going-to-murder-you-in-your-sleep” mode.
Her motives for coming to the League are currently unknown. She doesn’t seem like the type who would be in it for fame or cash…so why is she here? And is joining the League really her choice?

Fun Fact: Eleanor’s name comes from the 1963 movie “The Haunting” (still one of the scariest movies ever made), and the main character Eleanor Lance played by Julie Harris.

Ability: Pressure – Enemy attacks take twice as much power to use.
Nature: Unknown
Attacks: Shadow Sneak, Night Shade, Shadow Punch, Shadow Ball
Battle style: Dread is a silent, unmoving figure: barely flinching when struck, even though the damage is the same. His method of attack revolves around using the darkness and shadows as weapons and shields. If an attack has “Shadow” in its name, Dread will use it to frightening effect. His statue-like appearance coupled with spontaneous shadow moves which can emerge from anywhere to attack and defend make him a very tricky opponent to deal with. It’s no wonder Dread is the most powerful of Eleanor’s team.
Other info: Dread is an enigma, even for a Ghost Pokemon. The way he seems to influence Eleanor’s decisions and guide her actions while remaining silent and obedient suggests a cunning, malevolent, intelligence hidden in that faceless visage. The strongest Ghost on the team, all the rest follow his orders even more loyally than Eleanor’s.

Ability: Levitate – Immune to Ground type attacks.
Nature: Sadomasochist
Attacks: Mean Look, Curse, Pain Split, Destiny Bond
Battle style: Scream is a cold, calculating strategist whose battle plans usually involve intense pain, for both her opponent and herself. Her favorite strategy is to use all her moves in a successive combo. When a plan comes together, she’ll burst into maniacal laughter to celebrate impending victory. She has no problems with hurting herself to the point of fainting if it means giving her opponent a gleefully painful battle.
Other info: Sadomasochism aside, Scream is arguably the most amiable of the team outside of battle and can be almost Motherly to Eleanor.

Nature: SPAZ
Attacks: Night Shade, Hypnosis, Explosion, Lick
Battle style: Unlike his sister, Shriek cares not for plans and torture. He just likes to get in there and hurt shit. Zipping to and fro like the maniac he is, he switches randomly between attacking up close and from afar. If things go bad he pops into the enemy’s face with a literal BOOM.
Other info: He’s found maaaaany uses for that tongue…

Preferring to dodge and heal herself instead of attacking, she’ll wait until the enemy tires itself out and is too worn out to fight back before she swoops in to deliver a frighteningly brutal coup de grace.
Other info: Drown is a hidden powerhouse. She purposefully holds herself back to appear weak to the rest of the team, when in reality she might be even stronger than Dread. All of the team can see she has her own agenda, but Dread lets her be. Time will tell if that will be his undoing…

Ability: Flame Body – If hit by the foe’s physical attack, the foe is set on fire.
Nature: Pyromaniac
Attacks: Will-O-Wisp, Inferno, Overheat, Evil Eye
Battle style: Four words: Burn. Everything. In. Sight.
Other info: While the tension amongst the group builds, Immolate remains aloof and neutral, caring not for squabbles and power plays. She’d much rather just set things on fire.

Ability: Mummy – Changes the foe’s Ability to Mummy on contact.
Nature: Implacable
Attacks: Night Shade, Evil Eye, Ominous Wind, Protect
Battle style: As his nature suggests, Entomb is an immovable object on the battlefield, strengthening his own defense while attacking with ranged moves.
Other info: Entomb doesn’t like Dread’s way of doing things, subtly manipulating Eleanor. He’d much rather leave but won’t for fear of the Dusknoir. He’s silently rooting for Drown, if and when she ever takes over.
