Description:
CC-6569, nicknamed by his clone brothers as "Faie", was created and trained on Kamino. Despite being bred with greater independence and creativity as part of the ARC (Advanced Recon Commando) Training Program, Faie had very little interest in developing himself as an individual. He was more interested in serving the Republic as a good soldier. As a clone cadet, Faie was known by his colleagues and even his original template Jango Fett himself to be the quietest and most obedient trooper who followed his squad's orders to the letter. After graduating from basic training, Faie, alongside potential clone commanders Rex, Cody, Fox, Gree, Bly, Neyo, Davijaan, Wolffe, Grey, were assigned to the ARC trooper training program. He was among a hundred clone commanders trained by Alpha-17, an Alpha-class ARC trooper who was stationed on Kamino to train ARC troopers. After graduating the ARC Training Program as the outbreak of the Clone Wars began, Faie was promoted to the position of Commander along with Commander Gree as a commanding officer of the 41st Elite Corps.
After the First Battle of Geonosis, Commander Faie was assigned to lead his own strike team of fellow ARC troopers called Alpha Squad 9. Faie led Alpha Squad 9 in many successful operations throughout the first and second years of the Clone Wars, before the squad was disbanded late in the war's third year, and reassigned as an unit commander. Throughout the second half of the Clone Wars, Faie grew to become part of the 41st's inner circle along with Commander Gree, Captain Draa, Sergeant Buzz, Sergeant Scout (the name I gave to the clone that got his head chopped by Yoda with Gree), and their Mirialan Jedi Generals Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee. However, his by-the-book personality often put him at odds with his Jedi superiors and fellow clone commanders. Following Operation Durge's Lance, when General Grievous pushed the droid forces of the CIS into the Core Worlds, the Republic retaliated with the Outer Rim Sieges, attacking the Separatists' heavily-fortified bastions within the Outer Rim Territories. Fighting in the Siege of Saleucami (which will last to the Clone Wars' final days), Faie was assigned to one of three elite battalions commanded by Jedi Master and former Dark Jedi Quinlan Vos and Jedi High Councilor Oppo Rancisis (the other two being commanded by Commanders Bly and Neyo). Under the two Jedi Generals, Faie's, Bly's, and Neyo's battalions attacked a Separatist facility on Saleucami that was used to churn out clones of deadly Morgukai warriors. While the operation was a success, their victory was bittersweet when Master Rancisis was killed by former Jedi Knight Sora Bulq, who joined the CIS as one of Count Dooku's Dark Acolytes in the war's early days.
Following Saleucami, Gree gave Faie a handful of the 41st Elite Corps' best men, and ordered him to turn them into an unit. Faie took these men and created Bogey Squad. For the majority of the Clone Wars' fourth and final year, Commander Faie's Bogey Squad led the fight on many fronts throughout the Outer Rim Sieges. Ultimately, the 41st Elite Corps was assigned to be commanded by Jedi Grand Master Yoda, along with their former generals Luminara and Vos, and a young Jedi Knight named Mina Podia, in the Battle of Kashyyyk. Kashyyyk had been occupied by an allied force of Separatists and Trandoshan slavers. During the operation, Faie and Bogey Squad fought in the frontlines at the CIS assault on the Wookiee city of Kachirho. As the fighting intensified, both Gree, Faie, and Draa received Order 66 directly from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine himself.
Acting without hesitation brought by behavioral impulses from his inhibitor chip, Faie and his troopers moved against Generals Podia and Vos before they could catch wind of what was going on. Bogey Squad gunned Mina Podia down without mercy, though Vos escaped with his life. However, Commander Gree didn't fare as well, as he and Scout were decapitated by Yoda when they tried to sneak up on General Yoda. As for Draa, he was about shoot General Unduli without any second thought, but he was attacked and knocked out by a Wookiee chieftain named Merumeru, who allowed Luminara to escape Order 66 with Yoda. With Gree's death, the burden of orchestrating the defense of Kashyyyk, as well as hunting down the surviving Jedi, fell upon Faie's shoulders.
Faie's search for Quinlan Vos took him and the rest of Bogey Squad deep into the heart of Kashyyyk's thick forests, where he demanded that Vos reveal himself and face justice, or he would had to call in an orbital bombardment that would destroy himself himself, the fugitive Jedi, and a nearby village of innocent Wookiees. Enraged that Faie would deliberately endanger innocents just to fulfill his objective, Vos leapt from the trees with his lightsaber in hand, slaughtering Bogey Squad with Faie as the only survivor. While Commander Faie did managed to shoot Vos in the chest, it wasn't fatal, allowing Vos to behead the pragmatic clone with a single stroke of his lightsaber. Later, Devaronian bounty hunter Vilmarh Grahrk, who was a friend of Quinlan Vos, cremated the corpses of Faie and the other members of Bogey Squad before smuggling Vos off-planet.
Notes:
The design for Faie's Phase I armor is based off of the-roast 's depiction of Faie shown right there: www.deviantart.com/the-roast/a…, however I changed the marking colors from brown to green. I also gave his Phase II armor Kashyyyk camoflague colors.
