Here's my revamped reference sheet of Beyondverse Megatron.

The design and personality of Megatron in my series "Transformers Beyond" is heavily based on Megatron from Transformers Animated, which is my favorite iteration of the character, as you knew that he was the bad guy, but he talked made me somewhat a hero who believed in his own fanatic ideals and saw himself in the right, even though he was the guy who wanted to destroy the Autobots and take over the universe.

Name: Megatron

Overview: Megatron is the founder of the Decepticon uprising, and their most well-known and feared leader. As a young, charismatic leader forged in battle and the heritage of war, he began to believe in a grand purpose for his race—it is the Transformers' glorious destiny to rule an empire which will span the universe.

Personality: Ask an Autobot who Megatron is and they'll answer with words like "terrorist", "despot", "megalomaniac", "savage", "murderer". Ask Megatron who Megatron is and he'll answer with words like "hero", "freedom fighter", "rebel", "revolutionary", "true believer". He sees the Decepticons as an oppressed underclass who are fighting for change against the tyranny of the Autobots. Megatron takes extreme pleasure in the suffering of even a single Autobot and cares not at all for the collateral damage known as "humans" who might happen to stand in his way. He has the zeal of a fanatic and demands the unquestioning loyalty of those who serve under him. He aches to return Cybertron to complete the Decepticon conquest, but only after destroying Optimus Prime and every single Autobot on Earth. A believer of the doctrine of "peace through tyranny", Megatron seeks to possess the long-lost AllSpark and use its unlimited power to unite all of Cybertron and the Transformer race under one banner and achieve his goals of universal expansion and colonization, similar to the Age of Expansion that the Transformers enjoyed long ago.

Abilities:
Anti-Matter Manipulation: Megatron has the special ability to link up interdimensionally to a black hole and draw anti-matter from it for use as a weapon.

Weaponry/Equipment:
Fusion Cannon: Given to him by Starscream during the Sacking of Kaon, Megatron's lucky Fusion Cannon has become his signature weapon. It is devastatingly powerful as it strikes fear into the sparks of both Autobots and Decepticons.
High-Density Infrared Laser Cannon: Megatron can summon a high-density infrared laser cannon from the subspace storage pocket during battle, however, he rarely did, preferring to use his Fusion Cannon.
Emergency Laser Pistol: Megatron keeps a hidden laser pistol in his compartment whenever he loses his major weapons.
Energon Mace: The most infamous of Megatron's melee weapons is his Mace, which he uses to battle his long-time foe Optimus Prime.
Short Sword: Megatron wields an energy-bladed short sword, capable of cutting through tough Autobot berserkers with ease.
Dual Swords: After gaining his Earth mode, Megatron's helicopter blades can become dual swords, which he uses constantly uses in battle.
Mining Cannon (Pre-War): Megatron, originally Megatronus, had a mining cannon when he was a miner at the Nova Point Mines before the war.
Weaknesses: Megatron appears to have no known physical weakness, but him using the full extent of his anti-matter energy manipulation can incredibly drain his fuel reserves.

NOTE: Transformers Beyond is a Generation 1 reboot fanfic series that collects large amounts of lore from multiple continuities, especially the Marvel and IDW comics, Transformers Animated, and the Aligned continuity, and blends them into a new story inspired by classic G1 mythos, utilizing evergreen character designs.

The Cybertronian tattoos on Megatron's helicopter is suppose to say D-16, the name Aligned Megatron was "born" before changing to Megatronus.
