It took a while, but here's my favorite old timer: Ironhide, ready to kick some Deceptichops with his huge cannons! Beyondverse Ironhide's design was based on old concept art of Ironhide for Transformers Prime that never got the cut.

Overview: Ironhide is one of the oldest and toughest Autobots, and has been on Optimus Prime's team for a long time. "They don't make them like they used to" is an apt description of Ironhide-he's yesterday's model, but he's built to last. He'll fight to the bitter end and take down more than his fair share of Decepticons in the process.

Personality: "Go chew on a microchip" is Ironhide's slogan. He usually prefers action more than words, always having his huge arsenal of weapons out, ready to bust some Decepticons (or "Deceptichops" as he calls them). Ironhide is the oldest, toughest, and most battle-tested Autobot and Optimus Prime's old friend. As the Autobots' head security officer, he's tasked at guarding anything of importance. Though he may be rough around the edges, he's still optimistic and upbeat. Ironhide is the Conjunx Endura of Chromia, the seasoned infiltrator of Elita-One's Amazon Squadron, and has a close partnership with human military officer William Lennox and kinship to his daughter Annabelle. He acts as bodyguard to Optimus Prime and anyone in danger, not because he wants to show off his formidable defensive skills but he has a deeply hidden desire to safeguard any and all life in danger-Transformer, Earthling, Nebulon, or otherwise.

Weaponry/Equipment:
Twin Ion Cannons: Ironhide has primary ion cannons mounted on each arm, used to fire huge shots of laser at his enemies.
Water Gun: Despite that he usually uses his cannons, Ironhide's favorite weapon is his water gun that can shoot a variety of liquids, from supercooled nitrogen to superheated lead.
Missile Launcher: Ironhide can summon a missile launcher from his back to shoot down Decepticon Seekers and Fliers in the air.
Drill Gun: Ironhide can summon a drill gun from his subspace storage pocket to use for construction work.
Dagger: Ironhide uses a dagger as a melee weapon, which he keeps in a hidden compartment in his upper left leg.
Sniper Rifle: Ironhide can summon a sniper rifle to make some quick headshots.
"Big Iron": Ironhide's secondary weapon is a missile rifle used to shoot down multiple targets, without stopping until it runs out of missiles.
Ion Shotgun: Ironhide's another secondary weapon, that is much stronger and powerful enough to destroy armor and even huge tanks.
Ion Blaster Rifle: Ironhide has a rifle that keeps in subspace and rarely brings out during battle.
Wrist Sonodar: Ironhide has a built in sonodar sensor array built into his forearm which extends to reveal a dish-like emitter. The findings of the array appear in the windshield on his chest.
Abilities:
Armor Mode: Ironhide has a special ability that allows him to encase his outer shell with trithyllium-steel skin that makes him nearly invulnerable to attack.

Weaknesses: With his old age catching up on him, Ironhide is the slowest and most fragile of all of Team Prime.
