Description
A lot of you guys may recognize this old mech, right? Beyondverse Ratchet will be based on his G1 counterpart, Animated counterpart, and Aligned counterpart with some elements of Armada Red Alert sprinkled here and there. I also gave him a cane, inspired by SoundBluster's Shattered Glass Prime Ratchet.

For those who don't know who Cyberhawk is, he's based on Laserbeak from Transformers Armada, who was an Autobot drone used by their human allies Rad, Carlos, and Alexis.

Overview: Ratchet is the Autobots' Chief Medical Officer. If something's broke, he can fix it. Ratchet is known for his irreverent bedside manner; he loves having a good time, and his party-loving nature has given him a dry wit. He is not a particularly mighty warrior, which sometimes leads him to believe that he is expendable. Optimus Prime has trouble convincing Ratchet that this is far from the truth.

Personality: Ratchet was the best tool-and-die man (or mech) on Cybertron. In his workbay on Earth, he can make anything from a pin to a missile and repairs injured bots, given the right parts. Once an idealistic doctor and party-animal, Ratchet's optimism tempered as Cybertron descended into nine millions of years of civil war, giving rise to a brand of world-weary cynicism all his own. This cantankerous and sometimes gruff attitude is something of a facade he's deliberately cultivated to hide his natural compassion for his fellow Autobots and innocent organics. Despite giving lots of backtalk to his patients, Ratchet still gets the job done as well as anybody.

Ratchet's Partner:
Cyberhawk: Cyberhawk is Ratchet's assistant drone with three modes-bird mode, camcorder mode, and laser gun mode. Ratchet created Cyberhawk on Cybertron before the war to help him with patients at his civilian clinic. Then, awakening on present-day Earth, Cyberhawk continues to help Ratchet repair damaged Autobots. He was also charged by the Autobots with protecting their human allies, the Witwicky Family. His little drone has the courage and intense desire to protect his friends from harm.
Weaponry/Equipment:
Laser Scalpels: Ratchet is fitted in his fingers laser scalpels, tools that emits a variable laser beam that can be adjusted to cut or heat materials.
Arc Welders: Ratchet possesses arc welders that can extend from his arms to repair the mechanical structures of damaged Autobots or equipment.
Blades: Ratchet has blades that extend from his arms as he can use as weapons in battle.
E.M.P. (Electromagnetic Pulse) Generator: Ratchet can summon an E.M.P. generator from his personal subspace storage pocket. He can use this device on low power settings to place patients under general anesthetic, allowing him to perform painful or complex operations without causing the patient discomfort. At higher settings, the device is capable of immediately rendering a Transformer unconscious, even at range, and can also erase memory cores.
Dual Laser Pistols: Ratchet keeps two laser pistols in a hidden compartment on his back that he can summon in battle.
Cane: Before the Great Exodus, Ratchet was severely damaged during a Decepticon bombardment of Iacon. He was able to get repaired, but unfortunately there wasn't a replacement for his leg joint, leaving him in the need of a walking stick. At some point in time, Ratchet outfitted his cane with a plasma shock, so that he could electro-shock his enemies whenever he's in danger.
Weaknesses: Ratchet isn't strong or resistant to enemy weapons. Occasionally, his desire to party and relax during this long, brutal war can interfere with his work, like most Autobots. He didn't plan on becoming a career soldier when the war began. Thankfully, he's starting to adapt to his job as a warrior and combat medic.

Full Bio (Updated): Ratchet was forged at the minor city-state of Vaporex during the glory days of the Golden Age of Cybertron after the Quintesson occupation. Due to the circumstances of his birth, he was gifted with a set of incredibly dexterous hands, possessing a naturally unique skill which made them almost hypnotic while in motion. In his youth, Ratchet left Vaporex, and embarked on a pilgrimage to the city-state of Iacon, which took Crystal City's place as the capital of Cybertron around that time. There, he applied as a student to Iacon's medical units, and learned medical science from the then-current chief of surgery Remedy. Over time, Ratchet slowly climbed the ranks, and eventually became a junior medic in one of Iacon's many medical clinics, working alongside the famous Arachnicon doctor Cogwheel.

Much later, the outbreak of the Second Cybertronian Civil War, Ratchet chose to join the Protectons under Guardian Prime, and later Zeta Prime, and then Nominus Prime. After the civil war, Ratchet would settle down and open a free clinic in Rodion's Dead End, where he assisted the impoverished "Empties" who lived there. Ratchet would become the best medics on Cybertron, even became a frequent medic for Nominus Prime.

During the enactment of the Decepticon Registration Act by the Senate and following Nominus Prime's assassination attempt, Ratchet would use a clinic as a safehouse for any Cybertronian who were oppressed by the corrupt government.

When the Autobot-Decepticon Great War erupted, Ratchet joined the Autobots under Optimus Prime as their Chief Medical Officer.

He was one of the select Autobots chosen by Prime to travel aboard the Ark to find the AllSpark, and ended up in stasis lock for four million years at the base of Mount St. Hilary with the rest of the crew. Once the volcano exploded and the Transformers reactivated, Ratchet was rebuilt to transform into an ambulance.

Ratchet usually stays in the Ark working as a medic and engineer while the rest of Team Prime are on missions. He doesn't see much in humans, especially Team Prime's allies the Witwickys, but for all his views on the "primitive" humans, deep down Ratchet admires what the tiny fleshies bring to the fight. Maybe he'll even warm up to them.
