CLICK DOWNLOAD TO VIEW!It's NOT EXACT Sonic Adventure lineart, just so you know- so don't murder me. I say it 3 times- twice in the tutorial. Again, I haven't seen a Sonic Adventure tutorial for GIMP yet, so I went ahead and made one.
This is a different lineart style from the other one I did, just so you know.This tut is intended for beginners, who are just starting to use GIMP and is intended for getting the user familiar with the pen tool. I'm coming up with an intermediate's SA lineart tutorial next. (You're an expert when you have it down to a science and can do it on your own without ref.
)Also, in case you're concerned, GIMP is free, no catch 22s. If you don't have Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Paint.NET, and etc. you should get it. GET CRACKIN, DANG IT! XD
I'll do coloring next, so stay tuned.

You have to uncheck the Paintbrush tool's pressure-opacity dynamic. Then you have to check the velocity-size dynamic.

I know you dont have photoshop, but if you ever get it or some one wonders...
If you select a layer (above another one) and hit "Group layers" it'll group with the one below it. That means that any lines on the lower layer will be the only lines you can mark on the upper layer. (Triangle on Layer 1, group LAyer 2 to it and then the triangle is the only thing you can mark on the same triangle - but its a different layer still.)
I'unno its more useful for me because making the right lines with a tool is hard for me. xD
