HERE I AM!! BACK FROM THE DEAD! And more than ready to get back to work!I remembered awhile back from a fan that I should make a Sonic tutorial, well as soon as I got my Mac all of its new gadgets, I have now fulfilled that wish.
This tutorial will show you how I personally like to draw Sonic. It contains pictures and examples to look at, as well as my own typing to help guide you.
Please comment and tell me what you think. It's my first tutorial after all.

Why do artists make so many lines? You know, the messy ones? Instead of just one line for example on the head?

It's a bit hard to explain, but it's much simpler and more effective to start with sketching, and by sketching you most likely won't sketch with only one line, but rather quite a lot in case you mess up or if something is disproportionate and such.

This is the work on an amateur. Β If you look at my newer works you'll see that I've gotten much better.
Some people might still want to use multiple strokes for some stylistic appeal, if there is any.

You misspelled a few words, you might wanna look into that.

Well, I kind of did my lineart right out from Photoshop, then colored it. All of it was my doing. However I should probably try inking the project traditionally to see how beneficial that may end up being.
