Suddenly, out of left field, MOAR NAGAS! You're so surprised, I know.Uhm...! This honestly just started out as a two-second sketch of an Aolani head in OpenCanvas, on a large page of similarheadsketches, and just kinda snowballed from there. It's not perfect? But I'm very happy with it. Had fun updating his design a bit, adding the tattoos (which were inspired by some random tribal flash I found through google) and changing his species a bit. I based his patterning more off of a Kenyan Sand Boa than Kirtland's Snake, this time. He's just not as plump X3 And yes, he's single

Holy cow, you've really gotten better. I mean, you're art was really good before, but now...! XD And Aolani's awesome! I like how he's all coiled up with concentration. Although, I don't think I'd trust him enough to be alone with him anywhere. >.>

The first thing that shot out at me like an erupting volcano of awareness, was how exceptionally well you did on the coloring and I definitely think this is one of your best pieces to date.
I was immensely impressed not only by how well the folds and lighting of the his cloth skirt(?) turned out as well as his vest, but also by the fact that the way you colored them works really well in portraying the stiffness/softness of and between the two (as in, the vest seems a bit stiffer than the soft, draping cloth of his lower garments). I’m also really impressed by the vibrant blue of his fingernails and especially his eyes which seems to catch my attention in a way that couldn’t be not noticed (by anyone, not just me.)
The tribal tattoos is a really cool addition in his revamp and very well drawn/colored upon his arms as is the coloration and detail of his hair and the crystal he holds. His right hand was also something that stood out to me, as I felt you did really well on the shading/lighting, suggesting the tendons and knuckles of his hand.
Overall, you did immensely well on this and have shown great improvement in your skill with this piece. Very, VERY well done Skade.
