okay, first of all WOW. dammmmnnnn cool, yo.
i LOVE the tribal markings, and his headshape, and the detail on his staff. and the blood on his snout and tusks. fantastic work on the anatomy and the muscles in general.
also, you make natural colors that are normally boring really freaking beautiful. browns, in particular.

Wow, we don't see boars often in Anthro art, I love to see the more "unique" characters that people have to offer. Amazing! ove the background too, and all the small details on the Hog. Did you use Painter? but part of me is leaning towards the possiblity that you used OpenCanvas...

Awww... look at his squinty little pig eyes! *grin* Boars are definately not given the exposure they deserve; they're clever, adaptable, and terribly nifty looking. Just those tusks...rawr! The simple tattoos are a nice touch; they've got a very neolithic look to them. If I was going to suggest anything, I'd say a nice frame of reference that sits behind him, but does not encompass the entire background would be nice; something similar to his wallopin' stick.
