Finger XP is a clone of Mac OS X Leopard's Finder applications but it is still in beta version, so don't be hoping that it would be perfect. Even matonga, the developer admitted that it's missing things. Here is what matonga said: "Finger XP is some sort of Finder clone. It's not an add-on for Explorer, but a file browser on it's own.It's missing lots of features yet, such as:
* Drag and drop.
* Create new folder.
* Cut, copy and paste files.
* Rename files/folders.
* Delete file/folders.
* Quicklook is not like that with folders and non-picture/pdf/document/video files.
* Quicklook-clone should allow to play videos, etc...
* Indeed quicklook should be a separate app (hey that's a good idea!)
* CoverFlow-like view should be hardware accelerated (OpenGL + P-Buffers?)
* res/coverflowLoading.png should be inside Test1.exe file
* Test1.exe should be FingerXP.exe instead.
* Finger XP should use same process with separate threads, to open different windows (for less resource consumption).
* etc..."

cover flow and my custumes icons doesn't work in windows 7 :

That's normal : it only works on XP (for the cover flow)
Use iconpackager for the icons

hi, thx, I clicked on the middle icon in the left upper corner ... the view settings ... 3 horizontal lines , the same with album view

IΒ΄m on Xp sp2 and canΒ΄t use finger xp except in the default view. Can somebody help? I realy would like to use the others view modes.
P.S.: When I try to use the modes it says "Acess violation at adress..."

Matonga named it Finger XP not Finder XP, but he might have named it wrong. well you should contact him 'bout that.

Bad idea. Calling it Finder could get him a cease-and-desist notice from Apple's lawyers.
Anyway, I hope he finishes this. I've used a Mac before and I'm not much for them myself, but Finder is a great file managers.

Finger XP doesn't can't make the window borders to zero, it's up to your skin (e.g msstyle, windowBlinds skin, etc.)
