We ran over to Cape Canaveral on the east coast this past weekend to catch the SpaceX launch since the weather was perfect and there was a high likelihood the rocket would go off on schedule.
Believe it or not, this is the first launch I've ever seen live despite living in Florida for more than 30 years!
This is a 30 second exposure I took with my wide angle lens, and I cropped it and scaled it up a bit in editing. Next launch, I plan to have an intervalometer to be able to catch the entire flame trail all the way to stage separation!
