Description
A little AU picture of Aveza and Priscilla facing the wrath of King Andrew I.
This drawing was born of a few things. For one, I just wanted to draw Aveza and lil’ Priscilla. Because I love drawing cute mentor-apprentice relationships XD
Secondly, I really wanted to draw Aveza facing off against an alternate version of Andrew Jackson, based on that one famous political cartoon from the 1830s that depicted him as a tyrannical king. Because, you know, he was one of the worst excuses of a human being in American history afterall, and that's really saying something 
Fun fact: This was actually originally going to be the premise of the short story spin off of “Anthem” before I changed it to be “The Tyranny of King Connor” instead. Mainly because I figured that since “Anthem” was meant to be my interpretation of the final chapter of Ubisoft’s colonial saga, the side story should also be the same for Tyranny of King Washington.
That, and I just couldn't figure out a smooth way for Andrew Jackson to get his hands on the Apple and take over America within the ToKW storyline XD

Well Van Buren to me gives off this whole diet Jackson sort of vibe what with his contribution to the Trail of Tears and everything XD And as for Clay, that whole Compromise of 1850 business leaves a bad taste in my mouth as does anything that perpetuates slavery. And I really don't know enough about Adams to give a solid opinion which I guess says something in it's own right XD

If anyone who owned slaves is exempt, the only president exceptions before Millard Fillmore were John Adams and John Quincy Adams...who were father and son, so it kind of only counts as one. Adams was completely right in thinking that allowing slavery was going to end poorly
Thomas Jefferson is rather notorious for this given how hypocritical it is to his personal views, the amount of slaves he owned or the amount of children he had with his own dead wife's half-sister

You could actually make a descent argument that a lot of his accomplishments did more harm than good. I mean heck, his embargo led to a lot of economic troubles that would be part of the reason for the War of 1812 and the Louisiana Purchase paved the way for a whole lot of racist slaughter and Manifest Destiny crap

John Adams was cool, but he was also kind of a dick. And his son stole the election, so Andrew Jackass had a legit reason to be pissed and stomp Adams Jr next time around.

Well "stole" is a bit of a generous term XD As much as I hate the absolute mess of an electoral system the US has, Adams did technically win by those wacky rules. There wasn't a proper majority, the tie breaker was given to Henry Clay, and Henry Clay cast his vote. It might've been full of foul intents and personal gain but picking one side or another kind of ignores the problem at the heart of it: the system itself.
And I mean hey, at least it kept Jackson out of office for another four years lol

It can't be too hard. In the ACIII DLC, Washington took it from a Templar Brit sh officer hands at Yorktown. Jackson could have done the same at New Orleans.

I think it could have been better in the AU is Aveza's mother was the one killed by a drunk Assassin who just been kick out. Her father blames Connor for her death so he join with Shay and the Templars, rising Aveza in Templar order ideas.
Come the War of 1812, Jackson and the Templar use Pieces of Eden to conquer Canada, and beat the shit out of the British. Cue Jackson coup against Shay and the Templar Order with Aveza right by his side, making himself King of America.
Cue the events of Tyranny of Jackson. And Aveza wakes up to being the Number Two of the American Empire and the second most hated person in the Americans.

Yeah I imagine Templar Aveza would be literally the worst person ever XD Though knowing how Andrew Jackson operates, I imagine he'd be more likely to literally stab Aveza in the back the first chance he got as he tried to rid the continent of quote unquote "savages"

And thus OTL!Aveza has almost everyone gunning for her in part of her Templar version. Jackson, Natives, American and Canadian Rebels, surviving Assassins, and Templar in hiding and overseas, Hispanics in the conquer lands to the West and South.

I remember I originally wanted to do a King Andrew I AU for Anthem's short story but I scrapped it for reasons I can't remember :V I probs just had writer's block lol
The most that came out of that idea was that one pic I drew of Aveza guarding little Priscilla against the mad king

Maybe some day. I've been working on a couple one-offs for events I had to skip over in Anthem's main story (Old Ironsides and the Battle of Pensacola), so possibly.
