Description
Eyyy sorry I've been kinda absent in between uploads. Had a lot of stuff on my plate as you can imagineAnyways, here's another pic for Folk Hero. Grace was born and raised in Vincennes, the oldest city in Indiana and one of the de facto capitals of the territory at the time. She lives there with her best friend Miriam, shown here getting another tale of adventures and low-key worrying she's gonna inevitably get dragged along for them again. Miriam herself was born in Stokes County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of escaped slaves who travelled to the northern frontier to seek out their freedom when she was only a child. Her family found work and home with the Mackenneths in Vincennes, and so Grace and Miriam grew up together as basically sisters. After Grace's mother passed and she put all the responsibility of taking care of her uncle on her own shoulders, Miriam was one of the only ones who Grace felt her could confide in. The rest of the town mocked and teased Grace for the personality she put on and all the scraps she got into for it, so often Grace's only comforts were when she could come back home from a hunt or errand and play dress up with Miriam like the good old days. Miriam would always try to convince Grace to slow herself down and give herself a break, but Grace rarely listened.
After Grace started getting into the affairs of the Spirit Domains, Miriam followed her wherever the adventure took her. Although, being the very shy and reserved person she is, she always made it clear that she wasn't happy about it. But still, she's loyal to Grace and would follow her to the ends of the Earth, no matter how many ghosts and demons and soldiers they cross paths with. And Grace is thankful to have her because of that.

I didn't use a ruler for the most part. If I did then the perspective would probably be a little better
