So every battle has its own symbol, the characters change and there is a deeper meaning than just "a potato" (<---"wonderful" example). So the potato can show something more serious and deep?

Ironic isn't it. Conner fought alongside the U.S during the Revolution, now his students fight alongside the British. I know that the Assassins try not to take sides but sometimes the times demand they fight regardless.

Lol I suppose it is a bit ironic. I felt it makes sense though. Connor's whole story kinda seemed to be him learning that just because people talk about freedom and equality, they don't necessarily mean it the same way he does. I feel like he'd have naturally given up on the US as a whole over the years with all the nonsense they inacted with their politics against each other and the Natives.

Don't think so. Sure the people let him down but I like to think he held on to the ideals they had even if the majority did not. He was nothing if not always a believer in mankind's better nature. He just wised up.

Right, and I do feel like Connor would be the kind of person to deal with villainy on both sides of a conflict like the War of 1812, I just can't imagine him being friendly to a country that lets people like Alexander Hamilton and Andrew Jackson run amuck XD

Perhaps it's just because I judge historical figures so firmly by the Creed. Like, I can defend the Union in the Civil War but I can't defend the US in World War II because they dropped the big bombs. Same reason I can't think of Martin Luther as a good man but Desiderius Erasmus I think was awesome. I dunno. I have very low tolerance for those who make such a willing habit of tyranny. But that's just me lol
