Description

This was actually my first stab at redesigning Sednarah recently, believe it or not...I thought to myself: "How do I make it more horrific?"

HUMAN SKULL.

Honestly, I don't hate it...well, yes I do, it unsettles me greatly, but I like that it bothers me. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought it just wasn't right for the monster or the design. It also felt a little derivative to Shin Godzilla, since that's where Anno seemed to be taking Godzilla on its way to evolutionary domination of the Earth...and I'd rather not tow that line.

This kind of reminds me, though, of elephant skulls, and how ancient humans used to find them and think they were the bones of giants and cyclopses...it's superficial, but still, that's where my mind goes.
