I don't feel like doing art trades with people that don't have good art :/
I work my ass off for 3-4 hours on a picture that took someone else like 1 hour to finish.

These are a few examples of NON decent art I'm talking about.
I don't accept Bases as an art trade and I don't accept scribbles as an art trade :/ It's as simple as that. That's why I refuse to do art trades with certain people... As mean as it is that's how I feel. Sorry guys
PLEASE feel free to put your opinion in on this. I'd really like to hear what you think about this

I think there has been a bit of confusion here and while I know it isn't my place to intervene I would like to point out that time isn't the issue here. This stamp is merely directed towards artists who prefer to do art trades with someone closer to their level in skill. It's mean, yes, but it's only fair. I mean, do you think that a trading a stick figure for the Mona Lisa would be fair?

I think that your example of trading a stick figure for the Mona Lisa would be fair in my opinion, because I wouldn't mind that at all. I believe that every artist is talented in my mind. And also thank you for clearing up my confusion.

Your right, its like you give them super special art and they give you crap from bases or something not even nice. its like they ask you for a request.
You should make a stamp that says
"I made my part of the art trade, just let me know when your part is done. *Few days/weeks/months later* "Ehem, where's your part of the art trade...?"
(other person) "huh? what art trade?"

I know! Some ppl just think of an arttrade as something to slack off on and have someone else do their half and then they get what they want and ditch u and you never get a trade from them! I HATe and I mean HATE ppl like that!

EXACTLY. Do they do it just for the other part and they don't care if the person wants their art? Sure its okay for you to tell them you don't have much time and you have to postpone it or something, but don't fake excuse

Yeah, they don't care AT ALL. They just make fake excuses and lie that they'll "do it later" months pass and...NO arttrade whatsoever!
Like, the only time I took a LONG time to do an arttrade was when I was on vacation and I didn't have my PC w/me, and then when I got back I INSTANTLY got to work on my arttrades! But I have this person who owes me an AT since FEB and she STILL doesn't even THINK of getting started on it!

I USE to use bases when I was a beginner, but not anymore, I HATE bases now! I especially hate it when someone uses it for your AT, it's NOT fair cuz it's already done and all u have to do is color it while the other person works their head off. I mean, I don't think I'm a good artist(other ppl do), but I TRY my best and don't use bases.

Yeah, they just say, "Oh, I'll use a base and get it done, I'll let the other person do ALL the work". And that's NOT fair, ppl who use bases are just lazy and they don't want to learn how to draw.
