Why thank you, my friend~
I may not seem like one, but I certainly am a fan of MJ and his dance moves. I've actually drawn humans a couple of times in the past... though I was still a total n00b back then. And please, I take very good care of my hair, washing it thoroughly two times per day, three if necessary~

I've seen how some of my online friends look like through means of photos, but for me... well, I don't feel confident about uploading a photo of myself here, honestly. ^^" So this is the closest thing to resemble me in real life that I can produce.

Hey, basically everyone worships Michael Jackson since he's the king of pop music, so why not? C:
Is this your first anime drawing attempt? This is actually a pretty great job, especially adding along your three main characters at the background! But.... I don't know if I'm the only one thinking that you look somewhat like a human version of Roslan. :I

MJ was even the chance to compose OSTs for Sonic 3, last time I checked out some interesting trivia regarding the older Sonic games! But aside from that fact, of course I honour that guy for his smooth moves~ ;D

Well... I have had several attempts in the past. But this one actually turned out decent, after months of not drawing human-anime. Besides, this was meant to be my page ID, so I have to include my three main characters in the background to show that they're my main three~
And yush, I did mention once that Roslan is based off of myself, no? c;

Well, there was a reason why Sonic has his shoes modelled after MJ's. XD The creator of Sonic happened to be a fan of MJ, so it'd make sense that someone would've thought the idea of having MJ compose some of the OSTs for Sonic 3.

Now to try to draw some of my FCs in their human firms.... |D
Knowing you, you most probably knew about that through stalking more than what I've told you. C|

Then again, wasn't it suggested that Empire City and Station Square could possibly be located on the same continent, given how both are seemingly inspired by New York City? Along with the United Federation?
Good thing that Magic:TG allows us players to bend the rules to our heart's content~ I can just lay waste to a whole deck without even harming my opponent one bit. ;D

As soon as you said it after I looked up the gameplay rules I saw from Wikipedia, now that would've made a lot more sense. xD But still, the rules does make it look interesting, seeing that they use mana from the 5 colors unlike Yu Gi Oh.

Nope~ since I had her for about 5 years, and that my brother (who is a fan of Marvel) showed this particular character in the issues nearly 2 years ago... My first reaction? ...I derped out completely. 8I

Axe-Cell In reply to StR-Lite [2014-06-10 00:24:27 +0000 UTC]

You don't want to know the number of times I've met players who have legit cards that allow us (players) to bend the rules to our liking. I've seen cards that allow players to have 0 health (when the rule states that players are defeated upon reaching 0 health), win a game when they have a certain amount of cards in their deck (200, at minimum. Minimum deck size is 60), and even one-hitting players, even if they have 200+ health!
My case? I win either through brute force (Green), or mess around with the minds of my opponents through means of emptying their 'libraries' into the 'graveyard' (Black and Blue). And surprisingly enough, there is a saying around the M:TG players that "one's deck can represent oneself."

Whoa, that's about the same amount of time I'd have my character Roslan! XD But yeah, it can be quite surprising to find a character of the same name, especially when that character happens to be in a legit franchise. Good thing that your Elixir and their Elixir don't look like each other at all, eh? c;

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

StR-Lite In reply to Axe-Cell [2014-06-10 04:55:52 +0000 UTC]

But that could probably cause problems too, when 2 cards drawn with different set of rules wouldn't be able to cooperate with each other... Is there?

I still didn't expect coming across one with the exact same name that you wouldn't usually see, but that's definitely true for the rest of their traits~ c|
Say, is he the character you had him the longest, out of all the ones you've created?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Axe-Cell In reply to StR-Lite [2014-06-10 05:16:44 +0000 UTC]

That, funnily enough, has happened quite a number of times over the years of M:TG. And I had the opportunity to witness them in action too. The thing about two card rules that counter-act each other is that they practically nullify each other's effects! It's hard to put them in examples, considering how M:TG has grown to become one of those games where rule-reading is the sure way of winning a match. Miss out on any rules, and your opponent may win.

Yes, along with his little sister Roselyn and childhood friend Munais. But... as years went by and I began to adopt or create a number of characters along the way, I consider myself lucky that I still have only one character that represents me the best, and isn't overpowered at all. |D

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

StR-Lite In reply to Axe-Cell [2014-06-11 01:17:55 +0000 UTC]

I've been through that moment plenty of times with my "Mind-Grind" deck. -n- I always hold my creatures back whenever I have the chance to crush them in one go, only to get slapped in the face when my opponent throws a finisher at me. Especially when those finishers happen to be one-of-a-kind in their decks.

Really now? XD Sagacious has only been around for three years, and the reason why there's an old drawing of her in my Scraps is because I'd adopted her. |D She may've been the first, picture-wise, but in terms of characters created, Roslan, his sister and Munais are the first three~

Well, now there's something I've learned about Sagacious today~

Hahaha, dem Trap cards of Yu Gi Oh. XD
I may not play the card game, but I can certainly tell that it's not fun to be KO'd when you think you have the upper hand. :I Welp, time to go creature aggro for my Mind-Grind deck~

Not many expect her to be an adopted character at all. XD It's a surprise, even for myself, to know that she's one of my top favourite characters by other people, even though she was adopted. Goes to show that with time and effort, one's adopted characters can become as popular as the ones whom you've created, and Sagacious is living proof to that. ;D

But I try my best to mention all of my characters whenever possible. oAo I admit, I have commissioned several artists to draw her in their style, and so is Roslan, though most of the time, he's drawn as a gift by someone rather than a commission. It must have something to do with her design, I figure. Then again, you don't see a fox character similar to her around here often... do you? :c

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

StR-Lite In reply to Axe-Cell [2014-06-12 02:00:27 +0000 UTC]

Course not~ C| she's a very original character out of majority of fox characters I see, physically because of the attire and her hair design~ ^^ I also fell into interest with her bio in your sta.sh, especially her light and darkness manipulation as soon as I read the extra info. Besides, I don't see anybody having a conscience strong enough to control one of the elemental skills one possesses, so for that one, I absolutely find it really, really fascinating!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Axe-Cell In reply to StR-Lite [2014-06-12 02:14:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's the point of playing against human foes to begin with. |D It will take time to figure out WHY a deck isn't working, though, considering the cards in it require synergy and timing.

Really? I thought that characters who can manipulate both Light and Darkness were quite over-rated in the fandom. Or anywhere, for that matter. I'm glad that you like it~
Yeeeeeah.... ^^" Sagacious's bio sheet is still in the works, but I'm glad that you've taken an interest in the concept of "having one's other conscience taking control of another element while the host is using his/her main element." It's sort of taking a poke at those characters who claim to have another soul in them, except that Sagacious's other conscience was spawned by her own emotions regarding an event that traumatised her when she was still young. Ever wondered why her father's name was mentioned, but he's listed as "unknown"? c; There's your clue~
