Description
Doodle (on the right) is a bit of an aspiring gourmet. She had a goal of reviewing every major restaurant in town. Her sister (left) decided to help her complete that goal... within a single night. Doodle has trouble saying no sometimes.Artist's note: x3 I haven't drawn these two in forever, particularly in colour. The last time I coloured Doodle, her fur was blue. Blue. I'm not sure what I was thinking at the time >.>

food critiques must love their jobs....until they can't eat anymore and there dragged around by their partner (i'm guessing) and being forced to eat so they can give reviews even though they can't think clearly. everybody else likes it though

Really this is just a beautiful piece, everything about it just feels so right. First off Sketch is really looking beautiful, love the lively pose she has going on clearly not hindered by that lovely belly of hers. Really though her entire body is just looking fabulous, and it just feels fluid. Belly looks fabulous with that amazing sunken naval and perfect jiggling form. Also have to say that expression of hers is so wonderful with big yellow eyes and just a cheery smile, little exclamations near the top of the head also look fabulous as well. I really do think you've brought her back fantastically and better than ever.
As for Doodle I'd have to say she's gone through some massive changes all for the better. Once again the pose you've given her just feels really natural and I especially love how her head is cocked to the side against the pillar. Belly is looking wonderfully squishy and the breasts taught against the shirt are a very nice sight as well. Her fur color is just fabulous compared to the old one and I think it really compliments her hair much better. Expression looks lovely and I particularly love how one ear is folded down, also love the wispy feelings at the end of her hair for a much nicer feel. I do feel like Her left hand may a tad too large, but it's quite negligible in the grand picture.
The dialogue between the two is nice and lively and as always those little effects you toss in like the gurgling of doodles belly just make it even sweeter.
The Background is just a great one I'd say, really the lighting effects are looking really nice particularly the shadows crossing every which way, the inside for the restaurant also has someone of an open feel, so it doesn't just look like a pane of glass behind them which makes the Background much more enjoyable. Also I quite like that person in there drinking wine like a Sir!
Really though, I'd say you've done a beautiful job in bringing them back and I'll be looking forward to seeing more of the both of them.

I'm not certain I've seen these before. If I have, your art style might just have been different enough for me not to recognize them at all. In any case, the image is lovely and it's good to have characters (re)joining your repertoire.

They've been out of the spotlight for quite some time now. Their only other recent appearances have been in doodle pages.
