I love the Fiddler's design so I decided to draw him. The problem I have with the Fiddler is his origin story which as far as I know was only mentioned in the Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #8 (1985) which had Fiddler learning his abilities from a "Fakir" Indian man who can play the flute and control snakes. The origin is a bit too stereotypical which is why I mentioned the "India" thing once instead of spilling out his entire origin. What I like about Fiddler is that his design remained almost unchanged from his first appearance and I like it when characters keep having a consistent design.Β
The Fiddler Fact:Β During the Blackest Night, the Fiddler was resurrected as a Black Lantern alongside several other deceased members of the Suicide Squad.
