I liked the other two Jazzes better. This one is interesting, too, but the total lack of the face features makes it a bit ... impersonal, know what I mean? Could be anyone with shiny dark hair

yes, i think you're right... guitarits use to have this weird habit, to watch their instrument while playing...

i wish that too... i used to play drums when i was young, but guitar is different, it's solitude, it's company... good for any place and moment...

Oooh! Now this one I just love!
Very well done and the lighting and feeling is captured lovely!
I just went to a Pearl Jam concert last week and while we had excellent seats, taking my little digital was probably not the best move when it came to trying to get some good shots. But ah well, there is ALWAYS next time!

it's not easy to take shots at live concerts, if you have a compact camera... i know very well
thanks for you comment and appreciation

lol, yep so true. I should have taken my film camera, but the cheap alure of the digital has been draggin me away from all those developing costs. I still have over 22 roles of film in the fridge that need developing from Los Angeles...god I need to take those in soon.

developing/print cost and time dragged me away from photography. i had a decent slr camera but i got tired of all the stuff between the shot and the image on the pc. soon after i bought my digital camera i rediscovered the whole thing....

That is so true and I know exactly what you mean. When I can get around to affording a digital SLR, I will convert. For now I have me film SLR and my little powershot. Its actually a really good camera, but there is that limitation like you mentioned.
