Those of you who've ever had the privilege to use a cintiq for any length of time can attest to the fact that it is not only super awesome and convenient, but also seems to generate heat equivalent to that of a thousand burning suns right underneath your drawing arm. This by no means hinders the awesomeness of the cintiq, it just makes working from home in 100-degree weather super great.Related content

And here my family complains that I always have the cooler on - proof I'm not the only one who feels the heat from the awesome cintiq. ^^

We had that super heat here in Michigan that ended two days ago. Guess you guys got it after us. I was honestly afraid my tablet was going to get ruined from all the sweat.

Ugh yeah, I hate the constant sticky feeling I get with summers down here. Too much humidity! I'll take West Texas summers, where it was 101 routinely, but ahhh, dry heat.
Too bad there isn't a way to attach an ice pack to your arm to keep you from merging with your desk!

My tablet doesn't generate heat at all (grins).
...Although my laptop sometimes spontaniously shuts off from overheating... It hasn't done it for at least a year now, but probably because I've taped a "check the fan" note on my desk so that I'll remember to constantly check the temperature with the palm of my hand. (used to, when it'd get too warm, the fan would quit working, causing the temperature to go way up)
