  Geneva's birth was one met with joy as she was her parent's first child, the next addition to the noble house. But...there were complications. The baby meant to be perfect, to be without fault was born with a 'defect' as her parents claimed for when Geneva opened her eyes there was no light. Due to unforeseen complications Geneva's premature birth had resulted in the loss of her eyesight. Her parents couldn't believe the baby they'd hoped for, the baby they'd prayed for wasn't perfect. Her parents, both high ranking soldiers of Ladeer, were disappointed for their daughter would be unable to grow strong, unable to follow in their footsteps, to continue the proud Himura line adequately. They tried to love her but, as their child grew their disappointment slowly festered into resentment. Each day the young Geneva was subjected to jaded comments and distance from her parents; her tutors vigorously training her as her parent's wished, the young girl stumbling in her failings, trying again and again to gain perfection.
  As Geneva grew older, the distance she felt from her parents grew; their inability to see past her disability limiting her interactions with them. There were whispers through her house, the servants spreading rumors that her family was cursed, that the Himura line would end with her. But, then it occurred, the perfect heir was born, a younger brother who was healthy, who could take Geneva's place, came into the world. Geneva was not angered by this news when she heard she'd become an older sister; she'd been happy. 'Finally,' she'd thought, 'my parents' have the child they need.'  She'd even been hopeful that she'd be able to become a true part of the family.
  Before she could meet her little brother, however, she was shipped off to Crowell to live with her aunt, her parents claiming they were sending her there so that she could further her studies. She knew the truth though, she was being abandoned, casted aside just like always. But, she'd make the most of it Geneva decided. She'd prove to her parents and herself that she was perfect, in her own way. Luckily, her aunt was a kind woman who understood Geneva's drive; she encouraged the girl to better herself and immerse in the diverse culture that was Crowell. As she grew older Geneva found herself enjoying her aunt's company as well as the city of Crowell. She even took up flower arranging thanks to her aunt owning a small flower shop. Despite her blindness Geneva is able to distinctly tell flowers by their smell, her arrangements appealing to the sense of smell rather then visual. Her love for the country grew so much that Geneva even went as far as to claim citizenship with the country. Under her aunt's tutelage Geneva flourished into an intelligent woman; her aunt decided that Geneva was a perfect fit for a certain academy. With her aunt's recommendation Geneva was accepted into Imperial High.

*Calm| Geneva is rather mild manner, she enjoys silent/solitary activities like reading brail or flower arranging. Despite the hardships she's faced Geneva tends to remain calm in stressful situations like final examinations and the like. However, she does get flustered easily if you either a: startle her by popping up when she has her headphones in or b: you touch her physical person.
*Clever| Geneva may not be a straight out genius but, the girl is rather intelligent; she tries very hard to maintain her grades, working twice as hard as a normal student due to her disability. She also tends to use her intelligence to insult people when they're bothering her.
*Honest| Geneva is generally honest with how she's feeling toward other people, her speech reflects this. She can sometimes come off as harsh and blunt if she's being annoyed by another.
