here's a quick mock up I did of him before I cut the eyes! His ears will be kitty-ear-like.

wow Awesome! I'm attempting my own dolls too. Using 3D printing so I can mold digitally instead of by hand though.

shapeways is relatively cheap, and the thin walls are actually reaaly strong. So as long as I hollow it out real thin, it should be affordable...at least as any doll is.
