Been feeling really sick lately so I decided to set my crafting sights a little lower... namely Kylo Ren's lightsaber from the latest star wars movie. I have not yet seen Episode 7 but I want to...really really bad... until that time, I must content myself with just messing with Kylo's Lightsaber.It's made mostly out of PVC pipes with some little details that are made from foam and wood. It took about three days to complete and is painted with both spray and acrylic paints.

And... Kylo built his lightsaber with the wiring exposed?? Does he want to die at some random point mid-fight? (Maybe he does?)

I see you have a tutorial for blades, do you have a tutorial for things like this? Working on a bit of SWTOR cosplay and wondering how to create a lighsaber hilt similar to those in-game. 
Yes that long exposed wire - every time Ren spins the blade, he's putting torsion on it. It seems like it would be really embarrassing to have the saber explode into flinders mid-battle. Or worse yet, have Rey notice the wires and yank them loose.
