Description
Heart of The Daedra Keyblade
It has been a good few weeks filled with cutting, carving, paining and sanding... especially sanding. However all that has come to an end as the Keyblade is now complete.
I did my best to create a Daedric themed weapon while still maintaining the general look and feel of a Kingdom Hearts Keyblade. Perhaps if Bethesda and Square Enix decided to team up, we might see a skyrim Keyblade... but until then, this will have to do. Looking forward to hearing you thoughts on it.
As with most everything I make, this too is made from MDF, handcarved with various chisels and gouges, and painted with both spray and acrylic paints.
Looking forward to hanging this up on my wall..

Hehe my friend you have made a most exceptional piece of work here, I can't believe it's not truly a part of a real game series. The paintjob is spectacular, but the heavy twine adds a really nice visual texture alongside the "hammered" and "polished" metal pieces of the weapon. It glows and looks like a truly Daedric weapon, but after seeing the entire finished project I totally love the Imperial Dragon pendant. Even though it's a Daedric Keyblade, the Dragon drives home the fact that this is an Elder Scrolls (especially Skyrim) Keyblade, not "just" a Daedric one.
I'll say it yet again, your talents and designs are utterly incredible. You're an awesome craftsman and propmaker but gosh your designs are so amazing that it's almost painful. You could easily be a professional concept artist for any company. You truly build "vibes" and "atmosphere" into your pieces, they're living breathing works of art. Looking at the entire finished project, I fully get "THIS is the Skyrim Keyblade" from top to bottom. You're one of the best designers I've ever seen, including the pros working for the actual game companies. *shakes head, smiling* Fantastic work my friend, my own hat's off to you and my deepest respect for you sir. You honor us all when you share your incredible work. *nods* Unbelievable work.

Like Iv'e mentioned before, your approval and compliments, they mean a lot. This is because you, as a prop maker, have achieved a level that few others are able to achieve in your exemplary work in crafting the Buster Sword. I still can't get over how well you were able to pull it off. And that metal effect you've got going on there, well that's the icing of the cake as it were...
I greatly anticipate what new and wonderful weapons you will be bringing to deviantart as I'm sure many others are. You have a talent, and even with your chronic illness, your talent and perseverance shines through and by your art submissions, you have made DA a better place because of it. For that, I thank you.
As for Batman with a Keyblade.. I will be attempting to awaken my sister/Photographer to see if we can't fulfill that request... so let's just say it's in the works...
