Description
This is a 6x9 Rich Italian leather bound journal with decorative silver and brass filigree. It contains a sturdy three cord supported spine and hand sewn headbands.The interior contains 90lb watercolor paper and hand marbled end sheets .
Simple line tooling and solid as a brick.

I'm really curious, is the leather being painted to get the shading on these and then sealed somehow or are you using a dye of some sort so get the color variations?

I buff all my books with paraffin wax. especially on the edges so that it gives them an aged look.

I love this book! Saying book does not seem to do this justice, it's more suited as a wonderfully beautiful and stunning piece of art! That's better! I sure hope I live to at least 90 because at almost 55 in a few weeks , I still have a lot of sewing and craft and art projects I want to either learn or pick back up again. Just thinking of them all has my ADD going into overdrive! I can get rid of some of the supplies for ones i no longer want to do and sell them to buy supplies for new ones.

I was going to make it at one time but, too many people have already created it. It is not so unique to me anymore. The masses are saturated with many versions of this journal.
Just so you know, I have been around since the 5th Doctor.

How much is a commission? I was wondering if you could make me a book that symbolizes all of my OC's.

I charge a $100 down for supplies and setup.
I do not invoice for this until I am certain that the client has given me the necessary information needed to create the journal and the agreement on price for the completed piece.
To give you an approximate range, a standard 6x9 leather journal with about 250 to 300 pages will run between $125 to $225 depending on the complexity of the book.
The price goes up as the size of the book increases.

Remember, the goal is not to create a book you like. It is to create a book you absolutely love!
