Bahaha. Honestly, I love this one. I really do. It looks quite pretty as a whole, and the concept behind just makes me happy. Bailey certainly doesn't need to be big up there to be cute in my book, nor does any girl, for that matter. I'm very glad to see something like this come along for a refreshing change of pace from the typical absurdly well-endowed women so often seen in anime and manga.

First off, Bailey's facial expression is just perfect. I'm TRYING to find technical flaws in it, but it's really hard. I want to say her nose looks a bit off, but honestly, I think it's just that sort of crinkled-nose look that goes along with being irritated, so it actually still fits. Her eyes definitely tell a huge part of the story here, too. It's a sort of look where she's watching all the other, bustier girls, pretending NOT to be watching them, and just staring there in envy. The blush and mouth also work excellently together, and complete her look of irritation and embarassment. Like I said, I'm trying to find technical flaws, but I just can't.

Moving down, I'd also like to say that I think you did a good job shading the base of Bailey's neck. It looks like a fairly natural shadow that would result from her hairstyle and the sun at the beach. Good work. Her shoulders look a bit off, though, but I think that's mainly because of the way they join with the arms. If an arm stays vertically level with the body, even if it's curved outward or inward a bit, it should form fairly smoothly into the shoulder, without the slight, straight vertical dropoff that you can see on Bailey's shoulders. However, this is just if the arm remains on the same plane as the body. In the case of Bailey's right shoulder (your left, her right), her arm is moving forward, so I think a slight dropoff would be expected in the lineart. However, I think it should probably only be about as long as the one you can see on her left shoulder, rather than as long as it is now. Of course, it's just a technical thing, so it really only matters if you really stare at it...

Next, I think you've done a very good job lining out Bailey's chest. No, no, not THOSE, I mean her actual chest area. The two darkly-shaded lines there indicate about where Bailey's ribcage would start, and it shows that even though she's just about flat, she still has a nice figure. (Not that we needed those lines to verify that. )

I also think you've done a good job on her right hand. As we all know, hands are a pain in the butt to draw, but you've managed to make it look like she's really grabbing onto that cup of cola. So, I'd say you've found a good amount of finger to show for a grabbing animation. My one complaint is that her index finger looks a tad bit flatter than the others, and I think this is just because it isn't shaded as much as the rest of her fingers. It's not something most people would notice, though. I also think you've managed to draw a darned good bendy straw, but that's neither here nor there.

Lastly, let me say that I think you've been doing an excellent job of shading legs lately, and Bailey is no exception. You have a very nice balance between shade and glare going, and it really captures that natural roundness and curvature of Bailey's thighs.

All in all, I gotta say I love it. Yeah, so there are some technical flaws, but there always are. I really love the concept here, and I'm very glad for the message it sends. I think we can both agree that a girl doesn't need large assets to be cute or sexy, right?

Oh, and on a final note, let me say that I still love seeing new CGs from you. I like doing these critiques, and I'm always happy when I see something new to comment on. Plus, the art's just good in and of itself, and I really like how you've been putting deeper messages into all the stuff you've been drawing lately.

Ever considered drawing the whole lineart again over the scan with the tablet? It gives you a chance to smooth things out a bit.

Still, I liked her. Don't worry though, I don't really mind flat-chested ladies, since judging women through that body part is just...wrong. D:

Then again, I am designing a character whom believed to have EVEN FLATTER chest than this one! DDD: Shall I compare? Lol...like that even matters... :/
