Description
"Two RH-84A Ranger unmanned combat walkers belonging to the 14th Cavalry Regiment (4th Squadron, 112th Autonomous Armor), advance towards enemy positions sited via satellite near the border of Kejzgrad, circa 2044."---
Used by military and law enforcement world-wide, the RH-84 Ranger is one of the most advanced and adaptive unmanned weapons system deployed as of 2044. Typically equipped with a 30mm autocannon and up to six ATGMs, as well as a pair of side mounted removable manipulator arms, the Ranger is ideal for urban warfare where infantry may require anti-armor or heavier fire-support weaponry. While capable of being controlled remotely by an operator, Rangers are typically fully AI controlled by four computers located in its central head compartment, which make decisions on the battlefield in mere hundredths of a second, far faster than any human operator could. Its lightweight bipedal legs are designed to maximize speed and stability for both carrying heavy amounts of weaponry and ammunition, and also running and walking on uneven terrain. In the event of its ammunition being fully depleted, Rangers are capable of acquiring and using standard infantry weapons found on the battlefield, as well as any large or blunt objects that it considers usable against enemy personnel by using its attachable manipulator arms, or a pair of smaller arms folded into a compartment at its front. If it loses track of enemy personnel in combat it is capable of tracking and tracing back enemy footsteps, and can even attempt to inquire with local civilians for any information. In the event of it losing its location or signal back to base, it is able use the position of stars in the night sky to determine its location and direction, as well as several other means that may be available to it. Despite its "guaranteed secure" AI and control system however, several earlier models have been seen in use by enemy militia and bandit groups in the middle-east, proving it less than secure to hacking and enemy takeover.

And the weird part is the body language says "children playing", reminding me of the childlike intelligent vehicles in Ghost In The Shell. I love how they're described as "unbeatable" in a dozen ways and then it turns out the enemy just hacks them.

Yep, I took a bit of inspiration with the design of their manipulator arms from GITS too.

Interesting design. I like the overall shape, and the mounted turret is awesome, but your CG seems to be aft of where it needs to be for forward movement. I thought they were running to the left anime style for a split second, then noticed the turret. Oh, and beautiful background.

Center of Gravity. In other words, if you lumped all the weight into one point where that point would be.

Ah, I see what you mean now. It does look a little bit rear-heavy.
