This is a one part, short story
"Mommy! This site is beautiful! There is a gorgeous waterfall, the perfect ground to plant our tents, fascinating wild life! Aren't you excited?!"
"Of course! It sounds great!"
"Starlight, it's not good to bite your tongue."
Fate is a funny thing. Starlight, A pony who dislikes camping ended up with a child who loves camping, so much that his talent is camping! Starlight is the parent who hates seeing her children disappointed, so she tries to act interested in her children't interests, even if she isn't. Trixie is amused by her wife acting as if she enjoys camping, and her failing at it and it would be a complete fail if her child wasn't well... A child.
When he gets older he'll obviously realize that his mother wasn't exactly telling the truth, but understand that she was just trying to protect his feelings. Albeit, not in the best way.
