Just a little plugin I wrote for the Mycroft search bar that accompanies Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape. The plugin adds deviantART to the list of search engines in the Mycroft search bar. To install this plugin simply extract the two files in the ZIP file to the "searchplugins" folder in your browser's directory...
Example: "C:\Program Files\Firefox\searchplugins"
This is a rather outdated plugin, all this does is simply allows you to search deviantART through Google's image search engine. Thus, it's not as good as using deviantART's search feature but it's still pretty good.

What's this? This is the answer that we subscribers have been looking for. We no longer have to witness the whines of nonsubscribers who claim that our privelage is "unfair"? Thank you! Thank you!

What a wonderful plug in! Thank you so much for writing this, now I have something to pass onto those who are angry about not being able to search.

Congratulations to you then. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back for being the "first".

I'm sorry but I don't really think that it was in the best of taste to leave a comment who's basic premise was that you were the first. Seriously, that adds nothing to my work aside from possibly degrading it based upon the sole fact that you, apparently, have created something similar and before me.
Think about it, would you appreciate someone leaving a comment on your work saying, "Yeah, I made this before you did".

if it were art, then no, I wouldn't, but when it comes to programming, what is the point of re-inventing the wheel, when someone else has a better version anyway? as I said, mine doesn't just use google's image search, it alters the look of the results so they look like deviantart ... well, as much as is possible anyway.

Did you ever stop to think that most likely, I had not seen your plugin? Seriously, deviantART is a big site and to think that your work has been seen every user on this site is a very selfcentered attitude to take. Also, if you were any sort of serious programmer, you'd know that a trivial feature like making a page to mimic another page with out adding any useful content is utterly pointless and does not make one's work "better".
Please, I am not interested in carrying on this arguement anymore, take yourself somewhere else.
