You have to download it again -- version 0.9.1 is compatable with 2.0.0.1

You can find a modified version for Firefox 2
on my site.
All credit should go to Bluespeed9 though.

Will there be a fix to make this work with FF 2.0? It says it only works up to version 1.9 and it looks like a very useful little gizmo to add to my plugins.
Thanks

For Firefox 2.0
1. Downloading the .xpi file to the hard drive.
2. Unzipping it.
3. Editing the install.rdf file so that the Max version is "2.0.*".
4. Re-zipping the files and renaming the ".zip" extension back to ".xpi".
5. Dragging the new .xpi into Firefox.

Version 2 compatability
A quick solution, at least until @bluespeed9 gets around to adding the new version, is following these instruction on this site [link] .
Personally I'd recommend following the third method.

i used this for a few days and it's damn useful. now Firefox 2.0 appeared and I downloaded it. Unfortunately this extension is not compatible with it. Are you going to make an compatible version of it? And if you do, how long do u think is going to take?

I'm sure (or at least hoping) you're working on updating this fantastic extension, cause as of RC3 it doesn't work. Keep up the great work btw, cause I love this extension and have been using it for probably a year and a half. It hasn't left my status bar since I originally found it.

Waiting for a new version, I've found a solution.
Download the .xpi file, open it with your favorite zip editor and edit the file install.rdf.
Replace the value "1.9" by "2.0+" and save.
Now, the extension is OK with FF 2.0 and this vital bar is back !!!

Heh, I don't have a fovrite zip editor (or one at all it seems), so would you mind recommending one?
Also, do you think this could work with other extensions?

Winzip, 7-zip, Winrar...
Yes, that works with others.

if you can't get it to work, I just uploaded a fixed version of the XPI file to my server: [link]
hope that helps!
