Description  DARK! Elite School + Mafia AU.

Romano and Feliciano Vargas are twins. They belong to a very powerful and dangerous conservative mafia family. While Romano fits perfectly in the family and handles business with the authority expected from him, Feliciano just wishes to blend in at school and avoid trouble. So when Romano and his henchmen notice that Ludwig, a guy everyone knows is gay, is being slightly too friendly with Feli, they think of a setup. Romano impersonates his brother and arranges a fake date with Ludwig. When Ludwig gets there he founds himself surrounded by the minders of the Vargas family. Romano is on the balcony with Feliciano and forces him to watch as Ludwig gets beaten as a "warning" in the courtyard. Romano has in mind that this little demonstration could benefit his sissy brother and dissuade him from hanging out with gays ever again.

I chose to name it "Our Name Must Be Feared" because that's how Romano sees his family's power, and he's ready to be violent to ensure that. He's irritated to see that his brother doesn't seem to care for what poeple could say about him and how it would affect the family. He suspects Feliciano to be gay himself but he'd never say it at loud and he would do everything he can to prevent that.

I came up with this after requested "Something Dark with North and South Italy". As always when I take a request, I went further than expected!

probably but he's certainly going to keep that for himself in order not to get Ludwig in more trouble...

J'aime beaucoup cette histoire de manipulation, en fait j'ai hésité à l'écrire sous forme de fanfic, et je pense que ça aurait pu être bien, même si c'est clair que je n'avais absolument pas le temps, dommage.

So much cruelty... It's... amazing.
I don't know, I love it but it's horrible at the same time.

I undestand your feelings completely. I was reading a horrible fic in which finland is a prostitute just a few minutes ago. Quite well written which of course makes everything worse... and of course I loved reading it. I feel drawn to the darkness when it comes to fiction, and to be honnest, my watchers are too, considering I feed them drama on a regular basis. They follow me because they like it.^^

Totally agree. Drama is the base for any story, it's what makes the plot.
However, I'm not very into totally dramatic fics, because there are some too hardcore for me. I prefer "smooth things"

of course, it would be lacking of many good things if drama was the only ingredient^^

I would write an actual review, but I don't feel like I have any authority or actual experience to do that, so I'm just gonna say: It's really good. And I mean really good. From the visual qualities to the story behind it, everything's top-notch. I saw it, I liked it, I read the story, I got emotionally invested... Argh, it's just so good! And fucking sad (sorry, I'm primitive enough that I need curses to express my emotions, I hope you're not offended).
It deserves a long, beautifully written fanfic (which I'm not going to attempt to write, because I'm way too lazy to write something long and good. And I wouldn't do it justice.)

Over all:

Your review really made my day, you know?
Thanks so much!
I'm glad to see poeple connect to my storis an FEEL it like I do, it always feels magical.

I'm really glad, and you're very welcome!
People rarely write what story's behind their drawings, which is a shame, because it makes it that much easier to feel the atmosphere of a given piece. Besides, regardless of all that, it was just really good.
Keep it up, I can't wait for more amazing art from you!

You're a recent watcher so I don't know how much you know of my ongoing projects but I'm working on two comics these days (fancomics based on the universes of Kuroko no Basuke and Haikyuu), so if you like the kind of comic style I used here, in shades of grey like in a doujin, I think you should like what's coming. I get that you enjoy being told stories and that's what I've been wanting to develop more.

Maybe check Crashing Comets. It's a hetalia comic I've started a while ago, it's kind of on stand-by, because I care more for my current projects now, but I don't want to abandon it either. You'll see the style is of various qualities and shapes. It reflects my trial-and-error method for comic. I guess some poeple are kind of "born with it" but I'm really really not and I guess It's been on my mind for over a year to make something real, and the pages available of Crashing Comets kind of show the experimental process^^

My knowledge of Kuroko no Basuke and Haikyuu is very basic, and I honestly don't have time to dive into the fandom right now, as I would probably fail the semester, but as soon as I have some time to get into it, I'll definitely read those! I do enjoy being told stories, especially because I also enjoy telling them (even if my writing is still a bit crap).

I've checked out Crashing Comets sometime ago, and it really caught my eye. If it's trial-and-error, then you're definitely on a good path! I get the whole stand-by phase, I'm currently doing that with one of my stories on fanfiction.net. I believe everyone should primarily focus on what they want to do at the moment, otherwise it'll turn out crappy. There's no point in writing something just because you want to get it over with.

And, hey, the more you try, the better you get. Experimenting is good, keep doing that!

When it comes to sports manga, I don't bother reading them. It's honnestly much better animated. the movement is a huge part of the entertainment, and the seiyuu know their job^^

If you'd have to only know one sport anime, I strongly recommend haikyuu, cause the animation, the visuals... In fact knb is nice too, it just doesn't have the same qualities: knb has two amazing characters and great opponents, and it has a nice badass and manly vibe, but in haikyuu you really love the whole team, it feels like a big great family, with couples inside^^

you can find the series on waoanime. The site has lots and lots of anime.

Okay, I'm definitely going to check it out (both of them, knowing me...). Thanks for the advice! And the inevitable huge amount of procrastination... Oh well ^^

And yes, I imagine sports anime would be more enjoyable than sports manga. It just seems logical, as movement is pretty important when it comes to this topic, isn't it?

Oui c'est clair. Je sais pas pourquoi je m'inflige des scénarios pareils, en fait ça me vient tout seul!^^ Celui-là est particulièrement cruel. Pauvre Ludwig, et surtout, pauvre Feli!
