Description
This is one of several Kanohi masks whose shapes were originally made in official Bionicle art but their powers were unestablished. Swert of biosector01 and I came up with powers to use those shapes for the Aethion Expanded Multiverse, and Greg Farshtey canonized them as the powers for those mask shapes. Note that my art shown here is not canon. Many of these masks were only partially shown or were otherwise unclear; the sketch is meant to theorize what the rest of the mask looks like, and also to portray the EM version. This one specifically was modified from its original EM idea thanks to ideas from others, and used as the mask of Toa Pouks (of later Rahaga fame, from the Toa Hagah originally assigned as guards to Makuta Teridax). The power we had suggested was very similar so the ideas were merged.

Official power, as defined on biosector01: "The Mask of Emulation is a Kanohi that allows its user to replicate any one power of another sapient being for a short time by analyzing and duplicating it, as long as the user sees the power in use. The length of the process varies, depending on the power analyzed. When copied, the ability becomes like a temporary mask power to the Kanohi user. The user cannot copy Rahi powers, other Kanohi powers, or the powers of a weapon. If the user deactivates the copied power, they will have to recopy it, though the copying time will be shorter."

Bio from the 100-page Aethion guide PDF: "Temporarily absorb powers of those nearby. Must see the power in action, and takes a while to analyze the power. This has become Toa Pouks' mask in canon story."
