Best viewed ( and intended to be viewed) using the "Sitback" feature in the main gallery in fullscreen mode, just hit the pause button to keep the image up.Viewing it on anything but a black background *really* washes it out.
This is my entry for the "Newborn" contest over on Conceptart.org.
Y'know, I doubt i'll win the contest but to be honest its fine if I don't, its been so long since Ive been able to do a personal work and the topic was something I just couldnt resist.
Due to being short on time and inbetween assignments I knew I had to do something with lots of negative space.
Luckily the image-size requirements weren't hugenormous so I got down to it and busted this guy out.
Well..."busted out" for me is about 4 days, 8+hours a day -hee hee!

It's dark, dank, and creepy w/ a horrible looking alien... I couldn't ask for more! Great job on this man. Specially w/ the atmosphere of the environment,...looking at it makes you almost feel like you're in the place of the image itself.
Win or not in that contest, this is a sure winner on so many levels

When I work in photoshop a lof my work is done fullscreen mode and is intended to be viewed that way.
Venue still makes a huge difference, even in digital!

Were doing great, its been a really busy and hectic summer but such a good one. My daughter turns one in about 17 days and my wife has the summer off due to being a speech pathologist at the local school here - so ive gotten to have them around all the time and work extra long since im daddy-day-care during the school year, so theres not much to be unhappy about these days
