Somehow, I think that Madelyn, Rip-Tile, Artie, and Lyllian all getting incarcerated and having to find a way to free themselves would be great material for a TV show episode should that ever become a thing.

Well, that could be the start of a good story.
They could make an interesting alliance. Artie the Reluctant Hero and catalyst of change, Lyllian the experienced heroine and guide, Madelyn the sneaky and bullish hothead, and Rip-Tile the comic relief.

And Lord Ominous look at the wanted posters of his henchmen and said "It's about time they got themselves a bounty on their heads. Now they're properly infamous, as henchmen of mine should!" Then he noticed the lower section with Artie and Lyllian and sees how higher bounty they have thanΒ Madelyn's and Rip-Tile's. Lord Ominous gave a frustrating sigh and said "Not infamous enough, I see..."

It seems you could draw quite a bit of inspiration from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie that came out this year. Especially here.

Artie's a suspected accomplice to two criminals henchmen (Madelyn and Rip-Tile), and he's also wanted for .
As for Lyllian, she's accused of treason and generally being better than her superior partner, Dumaas.
I know, those are ridiculous accusations and charges. Let's just say it a way to make Dumaas more unlikable and desperate to regain his spotlight.
