Just a heads up, the link below is a stolen work reported by BeastofOblivion who is also a victim of this thief, there is a website known as imagekind that has a user who is selling your work as prints of different sizes on that website.  Here is the link: www.imagekind.com/Dragondesign⦠ and he goes by the name "Buu Dang".

Thanks for informing me, just about everything that guy is selling is stolen. I'm in contact with the site so will take whatever action I can against him. Had so many sites stealing and selling my art now, its ridiculous.

Awesome! I love that you did monotone with just spot coloring
It almost makes it seem like a thunder dragon in a cloud!

This has to be one of my favourite dragons on this entire site, the shading is brilliant, the contrast of the blacks, grays then and red, green and yellows is fantastic!
Well done.. consider me jealous!

I'm madly in love in these Japanese tatoos (in fact, I've always dreamed to have one on my back). You're extremely good at it! Superb!

lol I know the feeling. Like you done with your other tat you've got to try and think of something that means a great deal to you and think of how you culd show it in a tattoo, thats pretty much how I go about with mine.o

Yeah.. oh yea by the way... I'm not putting colour on my tattoo.. I love it how it looks now.. I'm just going to get the dragonfly shaded and I have a complete tattoo.. cause since I have dark skin... I think the colours would fade soo much.. and I keep thinking back and ford if I want it or not.. and I don't think I should get it coloured and then regret it.. soo I'm going to stick with black and gray.
What do you think?

The tattoo would look great in black and grey, some white highlights would be cool. If your not sure about colour then I wouldnt recomend it, thing is you can always add colour in the future so no point in rushing into it with colour.

Get white ink put in around the black ink and it will be just as promenant as if you had white white white skin. i got white ink around my tattoo and it REALLY stands out now... looks good

wow. this is beautiful. i could have put that on my skin. the lines are perfect. and that the flowers are the only thing with colour makes it contrast in a great way.

this is a really nice design. i like your use of selective color, and the stylization is consistent and very well done. although the hands are large, he is afterall a dragon, and i dont think it throws off the piece at all. in fact i rather like that he has big hands! also, the scales, i think theyre my favorite bit. theyre a very design oriented element, even though at the same time theyre very organic. great incorporation of the background as well!

Thanks. I think the addition of small intense colour in the cherry blossoms really brings out the dragon. I wanted something that followed off of a traditional dragon style but at the same time didn't feel the same as your typical dragon hence the different styled face and hands. not too bad but not how i invisioned it.

Japanese style is one of my favouties. u should put a pic of your tat on ur page, being a tattoo artist in training i like to see it other peoples tattoos. where about you been getting ur tat done?

devouredex In reply to brokenpuppet86 [2007-06-08 11:14:10 +0000 UTC]
The main japanese style tat is going on my back, from just under my neck to the base of my spine. Yea, once i have it done i will put both the original and tattooed version up, or i may once i have finished the design, put it up before i get it done. Theres still areas that i want to develop, as its going to be there for life, i wanna make sure im fully satisfied.
Your designs are great, so you should do well as a tattoo artist
