Description The concept of a story or two set onboard a civilian mining ship, the Juno, is bubbling away in the back of my head right now, and having finished one bridge I thought I'd devise a couple of options for this ship as well.  Similar to the Norkova seen in DS9, it is compact with no space going to waste.

Set in the aftermath of the Dominion War the Juno is one of a handful of ships operated by the Venture Mining Company, with a crew of 60, they travel to systems with an abundance of asteroids to crack them open and excavate the wealth of metals and minerals they hold.  It's a hard and thankless job, which doesn't always attract the best and brightest to it, but that doesn't mean that their lives are anything ordinary.

I think it'll depend on the age of the ship, if it was constructed in the early 2270s to mid 2280s it would probably be the One on the right.

Not sure yet on the class or age of ship, but given the kind of work she'll do (flying into asteroid belts to hunt for treasure) she's built to take a battering from rocks and debris so her hull will be designed to last, so she could well be a piece of age but with a few regular upgrades and overhauls would still be flying.

I think it'd be safe to go with the Antares Class from DS9, They seem like they're built to take such a pounding.

That is top of the shortlist, but still looking to see if there's anything else that might work.
