Bryan! I love this work! Honestly, I love all your work but this is special because of the way you captured Julie Adams as Kay Lawrence. Great work, thank you! Mark

This is great! The Black and White makes it look like it could be a scene in the movie.

I'm not a huge fan of Horror Movies myself, but I've always loved the Fishman. Great work.

hehehe, it's okay. It happens a lot, actually. I wonder if it's in the way I type.. or that I have Teller as my icon. *shrugs*

You may be onto something there. I have noticed in myself, a tendancy to assume, without thinking, that anybody with a male character for an icon must be a guy, or anybody with a female character for an icon, must be a gal. Just goes to show when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me. Haha.

Aww... I didn't mean to!
It could also be that my username doesn't have an a on the end. I find that names that tend to end it the letter a, or ia, tend to have a more feminine look.

One of the truly most tragic of monster/heroes of the silver screen. I love what you have done with him (and her). Definitely a fav! Kudos, Ells

LOVE your art, bud. The contrast between that nubile young womans skin and the surrounding details is awesome. Beautiful work.

Aww, thanks for noticing stuff like that, man. That means a lot. Yeah, Julie's a sweety isn't she. I find that there's something really visually interesting about a pretty girl dropped into the middle of a very harsh environment. Oh and by the way, be sure to let me know what you think of the color version! [link]

You're most welcome, bud. Yes, Julie's a sweety. And I agree there is just something really cool about putting those lovely young women in those horrible, hostile environments. Creates a lot of tension right off the bat.
Now, off to check out the other version!

It's that whole contrast between beauty and the beast. Or just beauty vs. ugliness. Never gets old.

Great looking composition. You really did justice to both the creature and Julie Adams. Excellent details and superb stylization. The anatomy and poses are fantastic. Classy drawing.
