A silly commission for a client with a great imaginative sense of humor, who sent me a very detailed description of what he'd like to see....It was all his idea!! But I sure had fun executing it.

Wonderful illustration. Β The bad brunette, having been touched by a slimy tentacle.
Is grabbing herΒ shades and about to beat a hasty, topless retreat down the beach.
Clueless, the prim blonde, dressed in a far more conservative swimsuit. Β ContinuesΒ
to read. Β Never noticing the deadly peril creeping up behind her. Β Only when her
wiggling legs have been stealthily captured and she is suddenly flipped over onto
her back. Β Does the stunned feline see the hideous predator.
Being pulled backwards off the beach towel and into the foamy surf. Β The frightened
gal uses her only weapon. Β Hitting the monster right between the eyes with her
scary book.
Angered, the sea creature deploys his remaining arms, one proceeds to slap theΒ
blonde silly, while the other quickly rips apart and removes the prey's curious shell.
Then both appendages proceed to explore downy hollows under its victims thrashing
arms.
Laughing hysterically, squirming frantically. Β Heedlessly displaying all her nubile
charms to anyone watching. Β The poor virgin was slowly dragged into the unforgiving
sea andΒ her imminent doom.Β

This currently hangs framed in my room.
This, right here, ladies and germs, is why I always recommend snapping up this gentleman's commissions when they are offered.
From the waves to the expressions to hilariously awful and over the top monster (seriously, look at him, he's so loathsome!), it strikes a wonderful blend between humor and horror
(Note that in my version of events, it's the blonde who gets eaten... while the brunette escapes to be believed by no one)
Special note: The monster? I just said,"make it a MONSTER," and Mister Baugh knocked it right out of the park.
This commission has left me more than satisfied- and also inclined to save up for another.
I'm thrilled to death to see it here, but allow me to gloat: It looks even better at full size, in the flesh.
