The creature seems to be having fun! What happens in the end of the movie?

Thanks for leaving me a comment but - Why would you ask me to spoil the ending for you? Wouldn't it be more fun to just see the movie for yourself? It's a classic. You won't be disappointed!

I know that it has to be a fantastic movie and after seeing your gallery I really got interested in seeing all of those films that inspired you such as ''The Thing'' and ''Re-Animator''! But I don't know if I will find them somewhere to watch them... They must all be masterpieces! Today we can't enjoy such films anymore! All modern horror movies are boring or even funny...

Well I own them all on DVD so yes, they are out there if you look! You just might have to do some hunting in the horror section of your local DVD store (or rental place) and online sales outlets. You can pretty much get anything off Netflix or Amazon these days. Haha.

Is there a poster-sized print of this available? Preferably suitable for framing? Because it's definitely my favorite of yours!!!

Does anyone ever wonder what were to happen if no one was able to save Kay (Julie) in the film? I feel so sorry for the Creature in the end!
Great job!

PS, I am in the works of publishing a novel that is about what really does happen when the Creature gets the girl

Really? I sort of gave up trying to get some feedback and opinions on DA, which is why I no longer post any work of my own. But rest assured, it is still in development. The story has entered a seventh draft, and came close to publication at its fifth. However, if you must absolutely learn a little more about it, then by request I can send you a note detailing its plot.
Thank you very much and have a good day!

Best to be cautious about divulging plot details until you're safely published--but if you feel comfortable giving me a sort of teaser, I'd love to receive a note! Good luck!

This is my all-time favorite out of all your work! So hard to say which is more lovingly rendered, Julie or the Creature! Definitely one of your masterpieces!

Well, I love both the Creature and Julia Adams to death so naturally I rendered them both with a lot of TLC. Thanks for your kind words!!

I just wanted to let you know that I've recently published my first book--a light-hearted dark fantasy entitled The Bride of Chaos! Judging by your work and the fact that you and I love so many of the same movies, I think you'd get a kick out of it; please check out my Journal entry for more details, and wish me luck!

I think he needs to look a little more curious and innocent. I think his expression looks too monsterous and wicked he's not really a monster after all.

Haha, this is cool, and well drawn. I actually went to and stayed at Wakulla Lodge multiple times, the place where this was filmed. xD

Awesome. The Creature is one of my fave monsters, and is my favorite Universal Monster. An added bonus in your hot-as-hell Julie.
Still, maybe you could have modified the guy a bit? Your Wolf Man had a fierce and real quality added to it, while the Creature here is rather unchanged from his original appearance. It's great to begin with, but still...
Anyways, great job. You really captured the feel of the scene here.

Thanks for your very kind words.
As far as changing the creature or any of my other monsters, the honest truth is, I never do that conciously. I just draw stuff, and it turns out however it turns out.
I will say, however, that there is a lot more room to play with the appearance of a character like the Wolfman, to exaggerrate certain features and whatnot, and end up with a unique version. On the other hand, the Creature is an example of a character who is so visually complex, with every inch of his body covered in rich, interesting details, that the closer you get to the real thing, the more fun and satisfying it is to draw.
So in other words, some of that interpretation stuff is a little concious, but it mostly happens without me being aware of it.
