Description
This is an old illustration from 1996. It was originally drawn only in pencil, for a childrens' Halloween craft book, called "Creepy Crafts"... (my very first, paid freelance job as a professional artist! Haha!) The art director on the book said she loved this drawing and hated to delete it... but there was a limit on the number of illustrations they could use in the book and Old Snaggly just didn't make the cut. So Old Snaggly got left out of "Creepy Crafts", but some years later, I co-wrote and illustrated a book called "Scared: How to Draw Horror Characters", and managed to sneak her in there. Of course for "Scared" I decided to ink and color her. She became one of my earliest, successful experiments in the brave new world of Photoshop coloring!
