Thanks! This one actually seems really old to me, now. It was one of the first pieces I colored and was actually proud of, after I just started figuring out how to use Photoshop. There are a lot of things I would do differently if I were coloring it now, but oh well, gotta move on!

Great Work, but what's the story?
Were the girls about to go swimming? Is this a common place for dumping bodies? Are the Girls coming to investigate improper disposal at the crematorium; which seems to be going around lately.
If I use my imagination, they are all valid in parallel stories.

Actually, this silly illustration is a splash page from a 15-page comic story I was originally writing and drawing for the 4th issue of a horror comics magazine that was out a few years ago. I got about 7 pages into it, and the magazine went under right after printing their 3rd issue! So the story remains, incomplete and unpublished.
I just posted this particular page on DA cause I felt it also worked as a stand-alone illustration unto itself. But I'd still like to finish that story one of these days.
And while I've started to get more requests to do new short stories in a handful of different publications over the past year or so, they've all been for comic book publications. And unfortunately, all the pages for this story are proportioned to magazine size, not comic size, and the two are not compatable. But I would love an excuse to finish this thing if such an opportunity ever came along that would allow for it.

+sigh+ Well, I'd love to read it, and would gladly buy a copy of the magazine or comic, based on this pic from inside. But, I'm not in publishing and have nothing real to offer. Support.

Oh, don't worry, eventually I'll probably finish it and eventually it will probably be "out there" for people to read. In the meantime, I've got other stuff on the way. As a matter of fact, keep an eye out this month at your local comic book store for this fine little publication....

I have a short story in it that I wrote and drew which features a female character every bit as cute, and a monster every bit as scary, as the ones you see in "Swamp Rot"!

This page is intended as a "splash page" (that's comic lingo for "full page illustration"!) from the middle of a comic book story I've been working on for a while now... I keep promising myself I'll finish it up one of these days after I get out from under my latest batch of freelance art projects!
